About Fogla Ashram Vrindavan

A sacred refuge on holy Raman Reti Road offering clean, budget-friendly shelter, quiet courtyards, and wholesome satvik dining since 1978.

HERITAGE & ORIGIN

Rooted on Holy Raman Reti Road

Fogla Ashram is one of Vrindavan’s most revered, unpretentious pilgrim guest houses. Situated prominently on Raman Reti Road, Opposite Shanti Sadan, the ashram was established to serve yatris, travelling families, and devotees seeking a quiet, authentic base for holy parikrama and daily temple darshan.

Raman Reti is revered as the divine playground where Lord Shri Krishna and Balaram engaged in boyhood pastimes with the gopas on the soft white sands of the Yamuna. Staying on this road provides devotees with a rare serenity away from the congested city alleys while remaining within easy walking distance of the Gaudiya Math, ISKCON, and a short 5-minute ride to Shri Banke Bihari Ji Mandir.

DEVOTIONAL TRADITION

The Monsoon Shravan Ras Lila Festival

A crowning glory of Fogla Ashram is our annual 40-day Ras Lila and Ram Lila theatrical festival during the sacred Hindu monsoon month of Shravan. Celebrated swaroops (traditional child actors from hereditary Brajwasi families) stage divine pastimes in our expansive open-air marquee.

Pilgrims from Rajasthan, Gujarat, Bengal, and across Bharat gather in deep devotional ecstasy each evening. Entry is open to all devotees without fee, preserving the authentic spiritual atmosphere of traditional Vrindavan.

SACRED FOOD SEVA

Shri Krishna Satvik Bhojanalaya

Food at Fogla Ashram is considered sacred Prasad. Prepared in strict adherence to Vaishnava principles, meals are cooked in pure Desi Ghee and ground spices without onion, garlic, or commercial flavorings.

Seated community dining on clean floor carpets fosters humility and fellowship among yatris. Lunch is served from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, and dinner from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM against nominal meal tokens.
